Loxo is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Mt. Washington and Grandview Area in Pittsburgh, PA. This full-time position focuses on preventive maintenance, building inspections, and keeping resident amenities safe and functional.

Responsibilities include repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances; preparing vacants for new residents; and assisting with move-ins, inspections, and emergencies. Strong safety and resident communication are valued.

Qualifications

  • One year of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing experience.
  • Six months of related trade education.
  • Preventive maintenance and building inspections experience.
  • Basic computer and work-order documentation skills.
  • Reliable, registered, and insured transportation.
  • Ability to respond to assigned emergency calls within one hour.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect equipment, work areas, common spaces, and grounds for maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Complete resident service requests involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
  • Repair outlets, switches, lighting, fixtures, faucets, toilets, pipes, and related systems.
  • Assist with move-in/move-out and regulatory inspections.
  • Correct inspection findings and document completed work.
  • Prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
  • Perform painting, drywall, cleaning, and minor repairs.
  • Maintain common areas, outdoor spaces, and walkways.
  • Complete snow and ice removal and manage on-call emergencies.

Full-Time | $21-$23 per hour | $2,000 Sign-On Bonus

Strong preventive maintenance keeps small issues from becoming resident emergencies.

A supportive residential community near Pittsburgh's Grandview area is seeking a Maintenance Technician II with experience maintaining apartments, common spaces, building equipment, and outdoor areas.

This assignment places added emphasis on preventive maintenance, building inspections, common-area upkeep, and maintaining resident amenities in safe working condition.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
  • Inspect equipment, work areas, common spaces, and grounds for maintenance or safety concerns
  • Complete resident service requests involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances
  • Repair outlets, switches, lighting, fixtures, faucets, toilets, pipes, and related systems
  • Assist with move-in, move-out, and regulatory inspections
  • Correct inspection findings promptly and document completed work
  • Prepare vacant apartments for new residents

We are looking for someone who notices problems before they generate a work order. The ideal candidate is observant, safety-conscious, organized, and comfortable interacting with residents throughout the day.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED
OR
  • One year of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing experience plus six months of related trade education
  • Experience with preventive maintenance and building inspections
  • Basic computer and work-order documentation skills
  • Reliable, registered, and insured transportation
  • Ability to respond to assigned emergency calls within one hour
  • Ability to perform the physical functions of the role
SCHEDULE
  • Monday through Friday during daylight hours
  • Rotating emergency on-call schedule
  • Callback minimum provided
PAY AND BENEFITS
  • $21-$23 per hour based on relevant experience and internal equity
  • $2,000 sign-on bonus paid at scheduled intervals during the first year
