Job summary

Lineage is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to service material handling equipment in a fast-paced cold storage environment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on forklifts, pallet jacks, turrets, and aerial lifts, with exposure to ammonia refrigeration supported by senior staff.

The role requires strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical skills, along with the ability to work safely in cold conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience in forklift maintenance, automotive, diesel, or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Certifications: OSHA, forklift certification, or related technical training is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in cold storage environments, and operate tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on MHE such as forklifts, pallet jacks, turrets, and aerial lifts.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, implementing effective solutions.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
• Assist with routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities on industrial refrigeration equipment, including ammonia systems.
• Support refrigeration team activities, including monitoring system performance, equipment inspections, and reporting abnormalities.
• Maintain accurate service records, documenting repairs and parts usage.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to improve efficiency and minimize operational disruptions.
