Job summary
Lineage Logistics is seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic and Building Maintenance Manager to maintain and repair warehouse equipment in a cold storage environment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and service MHE such as forklifts, pallets jacks, turrets, and lifts, while also handling facility systems including lighting, HVAC and plumbing.
You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, document repairs, and ensure safety compliance.
Qualifications
- Experience on forklift maintenance and industrial maintenance.
- Ability to diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Comfort working in cold storage environments and handling heavy equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on forklifts and MHE (pallet jacks, turrets, aerial lifts).
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime on equipment and facility systems (lighting, HVAC, plumbing).
- Assist with electrical troubleshooting, carpentry, painting, and basic HVAC tasks.
- Maintain accurate service records and parts usage.
- Follow safety regulations and company policies; participate in cross-training.
