Job summary

Betts Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support safe and reliable operation of machinery, production equipment, and facility systems. The role covers mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with strong diagnostics and repair skills.

The position starts on the day shift and will transition to 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. after training and proficiency is demonstrated. Two to five years of maintenance experience and forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to support equipment efficiency and reliability.
• Inspect machinery, equipment, and facility systems for wear, damage, or operational concerns.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems.
• Repair machinery, production equipment, and facility systems.
• Assist with installation of automated machinery and related equipment.
• Use blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical documents to complete maintenance work.
• Safely operate power tools, hand tools, machining equipment, welding equipment, lifting equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
• Perform basic machining, fabrication, cutting, welding, soldering, grinding, and related maintenance work.
• Work with industrial systems such as furnaces, burners, air compressors, plumbing, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic controls.
• Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance, inspections, equipment repairs, and completed work.
• Follow all required safety procedures, equipment-operation requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Independently complete assigned maintenance tasks and communicate equipment concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.

• Assist with programming, adjusting, and repairing automated machinery.
• Use blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical documents to complete maintenance work.
• Safely operate power tools, hand tools, machining equipment, welding equipment, lifting equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
• Perform basic machining, fabrication, cutting, welding, soldering, grinding, and related maintenance work.
• Work with industrial systems such as furnaces, burners, air compressors, plumbing, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic controls.
