Job summary

Bartell-Machinery-Systems- is seeking a Maintenance Technician 2 to perform highly diversified duties in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role supports Maintenance Technician 3 and drives safety and reliability across the site.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with vendors.

Qualifications

2-year degree and/or 5 years’ experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance at a manufacturing facility.
Fluency in English.
Knowledge of safety requirements that apply to equipment and facility upkeep.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
Understanding of PLC/Ladder logic diagram.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on all Bartell owned equipment and buildings.
Maintain electrical support of the building and safety codes compliance.
Maintain and inspect building wiring and safety systems.
Update and maintain maintenance documentation and records (OSHA, ISO, FM Global).
Troubleshoot and repair machinery and facility equipment with minimal guidance.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
