Job summary

Advanced Molding Technologies, LLC in Circle Pines, MN is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to maintain and optimize plastic injection molding equipment in a medical device production environment. The role requires troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on complex machinery.

You will work independently on more advanced repairs and help ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. AMT operates 24/7 with multiple shifts; training will occur on first shift; shift premiums

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 3-5 years of maintenance experience in plastic injection molding, preferably in medical device manufacturing.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing injection molding machines and related equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on injection molding machines and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Operate molding equipment and adjust settings to ensure product quality.
• Maintain facility systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Document maintenance activities and report on equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Assist in training entry-level technicians.
