Job summary

Hayes Gibson is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and grounds at our Buckhannon properties. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, respond to work orders, and help ensure a safe, comfortable living environment for residents.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong troubleshooting abilities. Experience in HVAC, electrical, and appliance repairs is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented problem-solver with troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Customer service oriented, responsive to residents and maintenance requests.
• Prior maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair & Maintain: Perform routine and preventative maintenance on property buildings and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and more.
• Troubleshoot & Fix: Respond to work orders, diagnose issues, and complete repairs to keep operations running smoothly.
• Inspect & Report: Conduct regular inspections to identify problems and address them proactively.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure maintenance work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
