Job summary

DePaul is seeking a skilled Maintenance Tech for the Pan-American Square Apartments in Buffalo, NY. This is a hands‑on, working role led by the Sr.

Director, responsible for maintaining buildings and grounds, performing repairs, and coordinating preventive, ongoing, and emergency activities. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, 3+ years of hands‑on facility maintenance experience (electrical, carpentry, painting, plumbing), and the ability to read safety and instruction

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of hands-on maintenance in a large facility.
• Experience with electrical, carpentry, painting and plumbing.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on buildings, equipment and machinery as needed.
• Coordinate preventative, ongoing and emergency maintenance activities.
• Lead by example, multi-task, and ensure safety compliance.
• Gathers price estimates and coordinates with vendors for major projects.
• Oversee on-site maintenance across multiple locations and respond to emergencies.
