Perdue Farms is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and rebuild production machinery and electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable operations. You will perform preventive maintenance and support continuous improvement across the facility, with a Monday–Friday schedule, 2:00pm–10:00pm, and occasional weekend work as needed.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, welding and rigging required.
• Must demonstrate/achieve and maintain Maintenance Tech II proficiency within 10 months of hire.

Aufgaben

• Perform a broad range of technically complex maintenance tasks and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
• Provide equipment maintenance, interventions and repairs; conduct preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment at an intermediate level.
• Support machine reliability and assist with changeovers and setups as needed.
• Respond to breakdowns promptly and report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain records and prepare clear reports.
• Follow safety standards and quality protocols to exceed production standards.
• Wear required safety gear and adhere to chemical, dust, and hazard precautions.
• Work scheduled shifts; occasional day travel to nearby locations.
