Job summary

Common Citizen, a Michigan-based cannabis company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support the Marshall facility. You will assist with plant/greenhouse operations, conduct preventative maintenance, and help maintain HVAC, electrical, and building systems to ensure safety and reliability.

The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and requires 5–10 years of industrial maintenance experience, with HVAC and 3-phase electrical expertise.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of industrial, facilities, and/or agriculture maintenance experience.
• Greenhouse and/or agricultural maintenance experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and HVAC background with troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with 3-phase and 480-volt electrical systems.
• Proficient with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day facility maintenance and manage preventative maintenance tasks.
• Support with electrical, mechanical, and HVAC system maintenance.
• Collaborate with Facilities Manager and team to improve reliability and safety.
• Follow GMPs and safety policies; maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation as required.
• Assist with building projects, changes, and expansion efforts.
