Job summary

Synergy Flavors, part of the Carbery Group, is seeking a maintenance technician for our flavors manufacturing facility in the United States. The role focuses on electrical/electronic skills, PLCs, AC motors and drives, automated valves, flow meters, and schematics.

You will provide emergency and routine maintenance, troubleshoot with minimal assistance, and collaborate with vendors. The position requires a Trade School diploma or equivalent and at least five years of industrial maintenance

Qualifications

• Trade school diploma or equivalent technical training.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in pharma, dairy or food industries.
• Experience with liquid processing, steam injection, heat exchangers, and energy recovery.
• Ability to read P&IDs and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and routine maintenance in support of manufacturing and upkeep of the facility.
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve them with minimal assistance.
• Coordinate with vendors to identify and purchase spare parts.
• Cross train with other technicians to broaden knowledge in Maintenance.
• Maintain inventory of critical spare parts.
• Participate in facility upgrade projects.
• Complete documentation such as work orders and log books.
