Job summary

Volvo Group's Kings Mountain Operations is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support safe, continuous production by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on plant machinery, tools, and facility systems. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance to keep critical equipment in optimal condition.

The role requires mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic knowledge, ability to read blueprints, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills and reading comprehension.
• Understanding of industrial safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Performs mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
• Conducts routine preventive maintenance on equipment, fixtures, and systems.
• Troubleshoots and repairs industrial automation systems and control components.
• Collaborates with QA to verify weld quality and adjust systems as needed.
• Installs and maintains hydraulic and pneumatic piping systems.
