The University of Texas at San Antonio Downtown Campus is seeking a Maintenance Worker II to perform a broad range of maintenance tasks across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and HVAC support. The role organizes work plans, provides technical guidance, and guides student employees to ensure timely, quality work.

Located at the Downtown Campus, the position emphasizes safety, inventory control, and prompt response to service requests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three years of related maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to operate and maintain tools safely.

Responsabilités

• Perform semi-skilled maintenance and repair tasks across multiple crafts.
• Train student employees in above duties.
• Use TMA system to manage daily work orders.
• Maintain supply inventories and request purchases as needed.
• Respond promptly to emergency, urgent, or normal work requests.
• Communicate concerns to UTSA Facilities in a timely manner.
• Assist with space make-readies, renovations, and new construction as needed.
• Work may require after-hours and weekend emergencies.
