Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician C to support safe, reliable operation of production equipment.

You will perform hands-on preventive and corrective maintenance, assist senior technicians, and help minimize downtime while building foundational reliability skills in a collaborative team. The role focuses on mechanical systems, basic diagnostics, and documentation in CMMS, with a non-rotating 8-hour shift.

Qualifications

Foundational experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance practices.
Safety training including LOTO, confined space, PPE.
Proficient with hand tools and basic measuring instruments.
Ability to document work in CMMS.
Ability to read basic mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Maintain mechanical systems such as bearings, belts, pulleys, motors, and gearboxes.
Support conveyance systems, pumps, valves, and utility systems (steam, air, water).
Assist with hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance.
Identify and resolve mechanical issues; diagnose, repair, replace parts.
Document issues, root causes, and corrective actions to maintenance and operations teams.
Complete work orders and support installations and improvements.
Collaborate with senior technicians and maintenance leads.
