Job summary

Chewy is seeking a Maintenance Technician II at our Wilkes-Barre, PA fulfillment center. You will handle diverse facility maintenance, electrical tasks, and equipment repairs to keep the center running smoothly.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical systems, conveyors, and industrial maintenance, with opportunities to train others and grow in e-commerce fulfillment operations.

Qualifications

• At least 36 months of previous facility maintenance experience
• Must have electrical experience or understanding
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair, housekeeping and plumbing, metal fabrication and carpentry to support our fulfillment center operations.
• Ensure all equipment is operating properly and maintain a safe working environment for team members.
• Complete periodic and general maintenance tasks according to schedule.
• Perform daily inspections of conveyor systems, shipping, and packing equipment areas.
• Maintain accountability for assigned equipment and related parts usage records.
• Tackle mechanical and electrical problems by testing and evaluating components, equipment, and circuits.
• Follow company procedures.
