Job summary

Chewy is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Wilkes-Barre, PA to lead a skilled maintenance team in a fast-paced e‑commerce fulfillment environment. You will ensure reliability of conveyors, automation, and trucks while directing repair work and preventive maintenance.

You will drive performance using data, partner with Chewy Operations and vendors, and oversee capital projects to improve capacity and efficiency. The role requires strong leadership and a commitment to safety and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading maintenance or operations teams in a warehouse or factory.
• 5+ years of experience with material handling equipment such as conveyors and powered industrial trucks.
• Experience using information systems and data to measure and improve KPIs.
• Ability to provide a high level of customer service to cross-functional partners.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Command a team responsible for reliability and performance of general warehouse assets and production equipment.
• Apply data to measure and grade team performance.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for downtime events.
• Lead preventative and reactive equipment repairs.
• Influence continuous improvement projects impacting KPIs such as uptime and mean time to repair.
• Initiate Capital Expenditure projects supporting building and network projects.
• Direct maintenance procurement activities within the budget.
• Coordinate with internal and external team members and vendors.
