Job summary
Allegion is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Live Oak, CA to perform preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance on production equipment and facility systems. Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; associates degree preferred.
- 3+ years’ experience in electrical/electronic troubleshooting and equipment repair (metal shears, punches, presses, CNC machines).
- 3+ years’ fabrication experience including metal fitting, cutting and welding.
Responsibilities
- Apply basic electrical knowledge to test and modify machinery and control equipment in production plants.
- Diagnose pneumatic and hydraulic components and systems and perform preventative/corrective maintenance.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools; locate causes and implement repairs.
- Utilize time management to perform PMs during production breaks and maintain equipment.
- Inspect equipment to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety codes; communicate any hazards to leadership.
