Gene B. Glick Company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our 200-unit Carriage House Virginia Beach community. The role involves maintaining interior and exterior areas, performing repairs, and ensuring resident satisfaction.

A one-time $1,000 hiring bonus is offered after 6 months of employment. Excellent benefits and opportunities for advancement are provided in a family-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA designation/certification.
• Valid driver's license in the state of residence.
• Able to work overtime and emergency call-ins.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Reads and comprehends English.

Responsabilités

• Complete maintenance requests efficiently and courteously.
• Repair and maintain electrical circuits, switches, outlets, lighting.
• Repair and maintain plumbing fixtures.
• Repair and maintain basic appliances (refrigerator, range, dishwasher, washer/dryer).
• Service HVAC systems.
• Maintain carpeting and tile.
• Maintain lawns, grounds, landscaping, and parking lots.
• Repair and maintain building exteriors and interior common areas.
• Complete preventative maintenance activities.
• Clean and maintain common areas.
• Prepare vacant apartments for market readiness.
• Provide resident support and respond to after-hours emergencies.
