Job summary

Gene B. Glick Company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for the Carriage House Evansville community. The role involves maintaining both exterior and interior areas, handling maintenance requests, and ensuring resident satisfaction.

A one-time $1,000 hiring bonus is offered after 6 months of employment. Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical, appliance, HVAC maintenance, and preventative tasks, plus on-site support and after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• Requires EPA designation/certification
• Valid driver’s license in resident state
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Must be able to read and comprehend English
• Overtime and on-call availability as needed

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance requests efficiently and courteously.
• Repair and maintain basic electrical circuits, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
• Repair, install and maintain plumbing fixtures and basic appliances.
• Service and troubleshoot HVAC systems.
• Maintain lawns, grounds, and common areas including snow removal.
• Prepare vacant apartments for market-ready condition; may include cleaning/painting.
