Gene B. Glick Company seeks a Maintenance Technician for Somerset Lakes, a 360-unit community. The role involves maintaining interiors and exteriors and ensuring resident satisfaction, with a $1,000 hiring bonus paid after six months of employment.

Responsibilities include handling maintenance requests, basic electrical, plumbing, and appliance work, grounds upkeep, and preparing vacants for market readiness. Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license in state of residence.
• Able to work overtime and during emergencies.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Experience in the maintenance field desirable.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance requests efficiently and courteously.
• Repair and maintain electrical circuits, switches, outlets, and lighting.
• Repair, install and maintain basic plumbing fixtures and appliances.
• Repair carpeting and tile.
• Maintain lawns, grounds, landscaping, and parking lots; snow removal.
• Inspect and maintain building exteriors and common areas.
• Complete preventative maintenance activities.
• Clean and maintain common areas.
• Prepare vacant apartments for market readiness; may include cleaning/painting.
• Provide resident support and respond to after-hours emergency calls.
