Job summary

Protolabs in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to ensure reliability and efficiency of production equipment and facilities. In this hands-on role, you will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance while troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational/technical school or associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years hands-on industrial maintenance in manufacturing.
• Able to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics; basic PLC ladder logic.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on machine tools including cleaning, lubrication, filter changes, belt replacement, adjustments and basic repairs.
• Develop proficiency with complex repairs as needed.
• Complete occasional CAD projects for Facilities and maintenance.
• Assist with CMMS implementation and maintenance.
• Adhere to quality and safety standards in the department.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
