Caterpillar Hodges, SC, is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the 2nd shift to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, conveyors, and production machines, following safety and predictive maintenance processes.

Preferred candidates have an Associate degree in Mechatronics or Industrial Maintenance, plus experience with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems, and PLCs.

Qualificações

• Associates degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related program is preferred.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing/facilities equipment is expected.
• Knowledge of Electrical (110-480VAC and 0-36VDC), PLCs, Controls, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and gas systems is advantageous.

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes. This role requires a proactive individual who can complete preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines, etc.**What You Will Do (including but not limited to):*** Carry out preventive maintenance:* Analyzing and effecting improvements on facilities because of observations made during preventive maintenance.* Participating in regularly scheduled maintenance stops.* Carry out corrective maintenance:* analyze the malfunction and propose, then put into effect, the best solution. When a repair is done, the incumbent should inform the supervisor and/or production about availability of the equipment and immediately give the repair done.* The incumbent records immediately the incident encountered in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).* Help maintenance agents and exterior companies as necessary, carrying out an intervention on-site, in agreement with supervisor.* Be able to find technical information and contact external suppliers directly.* Participate in smooth functioning of the spare parts storeroom.**Basic Qualifications:*** Experience working in a maintenance, mechanical, or electrical position (preferably in a heavy industrial environment)* Manufacturing Safety: Knowledge and application of manufacturing safety; ability to identify work-related hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workers, environment and site**Top Candidates Will Have:*** Associates degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or relevant program* Preventative maintenance and repairs on various manufacturing and facilities equipment (pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, conveyor, HVAC systems, fire systems, etc.)* Knowledge of Electrical (110-480VAC and 0-36VDC), PLC's, Controls, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and gas systems considered a plus* Experience working in a foundry (Hodges is a cast iron foundry) is preferred* Previous experience using Microsoft Office, ACAD, E-drawing, QAD, and Llumin is preferred* Usage on manual, electrical, and pneumatic tools for repairs and diagnostics.**Additional Information:*** 2nd Shift: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm* This position is eligible for $.75 hourly shift premium.* This is an on-site position in Hodges, SC.* Please frequently check the email associated with your application, including the junk/spam folder, as this is the primary correspondence method.
