Job summary

Cintas Corporation seeks a Maintenance Technician I to support an industrial laundry facility in Milwaukee, WI. You will help repair, maintain and troubleshoot equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels and conveyors, while performing preventive maintenance and safety tasks.

The role requires reading English maintenance literature and blueprints, standing up to 7 hours per shift, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Ability to read a blueprint.
• Stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and monitor safety concerns.
• Maintain maintenance records and stock inventory supplies.
• Perform indoor and outdoor housekeeping as needed.

Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to assist with maintaining an industrial laundry facility. Responsibilities include assisting with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems and components including, but not limited to, washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems and boilers; assisting with performing preventive/predictive maintenance; resolving safety concerns; performing indoor and outdoor housekeeping; monitoring inventory suppliesand maintaining maintenance records.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years'experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift
• High School Diploma/GED

Preferred

• Boiler knowledge
• HVAC experience
• Experience and ability to perform welding activities including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting and brazing
