Job summary

Sigma Systems, Inc. in Athens, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to independently perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on clean utilities, HVAC, and HPW systems.

The role requires a high school diploma with 5+ years in manufacturing (pharma preferred) or an associate/technical degree with 2+ years, strong EHS knowledge, and solid problem solving and communication skills. Shift: 2nd, Mon-Fri 4:00pm-12:30am. 12‑month contract.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 5 years’ experience in manufacturing, pharma preferred.
• Associate/Technical Degree with 2+ years in manufacturing, pharma preferred.
• Knowledge of and adherence to EHS requirements.
• Intermediate problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment across clean utilities, HVAC, power plant/utilities and HPW systems.
• Adhere to good maintenance practices to ensure reliability and performance of systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams to address equipment issues and improvements.

• Shift/Schedule: Shift 2nd, M-F 8.00 hours per day (Hours 4:00pm-12:30am)

Job Description:

• Independently plays a key role in maintenance, troubleshooting and repair in all aspects relative to good maintenance practices of equipment, reliability and performance of systems such as clean utilities, clean room HVAC, power plant/utilities and HPW systems.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma +5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in a pharmaceutical industry.
• Associates Degree/Technical Degree in a relevant field of study +2 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a pharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of and adherence to EHS requirements.
• Intermediate level problem solving/troubleshooting.
• Proficient verbal and written communication
