Job summary

Danfoss Power Solutions in Searcy, AR is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for 1st shift to support plant operations by installing, repairing, and maintaining production equipment under guidance. This role focuses on CNC machines and hydraulic circuits with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2+ years in manufacturing maintenance, and the ability to read schematics; familiarity with SAP/Maximo and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate degree is preferred.
  • Minimum two years of manufacturing maintenance experience with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints/schematics and precision drawings to diagnose issues.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical components and processing equipment.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, with good records and multi-tasking ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, SAP and Maximo; ability to train others.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems under supervision.
  • Test machinery operation and diagnose malfunctions with test equipment.
  • Analyze results and operator data to diagnose equipment problems.
  • Repair and maintain CNC machines (Okuma/Mazak/Makino) under supervision.
  • Install and maintain hydraulic circuits and components in industrial equipment.
  • Maintain operating condition of production equipment and test stands.
  • Follow all safety rules, PPE and OSHA requirements.

The Impact You'll Make

Danfoss in Searcy, Arkansas is seeking a Maintenance Technician II . This position provides support to Plant Operations in installing, repairing and maintaining Production equipment throughout the Plant under instruction or with the assistance of a theMaintenance Manager and/orLead Maintenance Technician .
This is a 1st Shift position.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Troubleshooting electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical systems to the faulty component under the instruction of the Maintenance Manager and/orLead Maintenance Technician
  • Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions, usin test equipment under the instruction of the Maintenance Manager and/or Lead Maintenance Technician .
  • Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
  • Repair and Maintain CNC Machines, including Okuma/ Mazak/Makino Machining Centers under instruction of the Maintenance Manager and/or Lead Maintenance Technician .
  • Install and maintain hydraulic circuits in Industrial equipment, including hoses, relief valves, proportional valves and other hydraulic components under the Maintenance Manager and/or Lead Maintenance Technician
  • Repair and maintain the operating condition of all industrial production equipment, including Test Stands and devices used to move, lift or convey product unde r Maintenance Manager and/or Lead Maintenance Technician
  • Follow all Safety Rules, including PPE and OSHA .
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of (two)years of manufacturing maintenance experience, including hands-on work with industrial, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, electronic/hydraulic drawings, and precision measuring instruments to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly with electrical components and advanced processing equipment, with the ability to use computer systems for production analysis and documentation.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, able to follow procedures, maintain accurate records, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Effective team player with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, SAP, and Maximo; capable of training others, creating reports, and supporting team objectives.
