Job summary

Two Coast Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance on our multifamily properties in Virginia Beach. You will handle light carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and HVAC tasks, respond to work orders, and help keep buildings, grounds, and resident amenities safe and functional.

As a hands-on professional, you will interact with residents, follow safety policies, and support the maintenance and property management teams.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant maintenance experience in multifamily, residential, or hospitality environments.
  • 1+ year HVAC maintenance and repair experience required.
  • EPA Certification Type I and II or Universal required (HVAC).

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance and repairs (light carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC).
  • Respond to work orders promptly and identify issues to prevent escalation.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality of buildings, grounds, and resident amenities.
  • Interact professionally with residents and support team members.
  • Follow safety policies to maintain a safe environment.
  • Assist with general property upkeep and vendor coordination as needed.

This role is hands-on and service-oriented, supporting daily work orders, property upkeep, and resident needs while helping prevent minor issues from becoming major repairs. The Maintenance Technician II works closely with the Maintenance and Property Management teams and serves as a key contributor to resident satisfaction and community safety.Work ArrangementLocation: Onsite | Chase Arbor | Virginia Beach, VASchedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMOn-Call: Required on a scheduled basis, including occasional weekends or holidaysKey ResponsibilitiesPerform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance and repairs, including light carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and HVAC-related workRespond to work orders promptly and proactively identify maintenance issues to prevent escalationMaintain the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of buildings, grounds, and resident amenities such as pools and clubhousesInteract professionally and courteously with residents in their homes and throughout the communityFollow all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working and living environmentAssist with general property upkeep and support team members as neededCareer Path & Next Role ReadinessThe Maintenance Technician II role is intentionally designed as a pathway to the Lead Maintenance Technician role.
