Job summary

Two Coast Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance on a multifamily property at The Beacon in Rocky Hill, CT. The role requires hands-on work and strong customer service while supporting daily work orders and resident needs.

You will handle light carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and HVAC tasks, respond promptly to issues, and uphold safety policies. On-call duties include weekends or holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications

  • EPA Certification Type II or higher is required.
  • 2+ years of relevant maintenance experience in multifamily, residential, or hospitality settings.
  • 1+ years of HVAC maintenance and repair experience.
  • Experience in general building maintenance including handyman work, light carpentry, plumbing, electrical and painting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance and repairs including light carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and HVAC work.
  • Respond to work orders promptly and identify issues to prevent escalation.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality of buildings, grounds, and resident amenities.
  • Interact professionally with residents in homes and throughout the community.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment.
  • Assist with general property upkeep and support team members as needed.

This role is hands-on and service-oriented, supporting daily work orders, property upkeep, and resident needs while helping prevent minor issues from becoming major repairs.
