Job summary

AMSOIL is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support safe and efficient manufacturing operations at the AMSOIL Center in Superior, Wisconsin. You will maximize equipment uptime, support production goals, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

The role offers a Monday–Friday 7:00 am–3:00 pm schedule with occasional overtime. Ideal candidates have an associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field and 5+ years of maintenance experience, with skills in PLCs, motor

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Industrial Automation, or related field or equivalent training/experience.
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in industrial mechanical, electrical, HVAC, facilities or related trades.
  • Experience in manufacturing/high-volume production environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical systems preferred.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Welding, fabrication, machining and industrial electrical experience desirable.
  • CMMS experience such as Limble preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Support production line changeovers and equipment setup.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and equipment documentation.
  • Maintain and repair production equipment, material handling equipment, and facility systems.
  • Support HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and general facility maintenance.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Safety, and Quality teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.
  • Use CMMS to document maintenance activities and manage work orders.

AMSOIL INC. is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician II to support safe and efficient manufacturing operations at the AMSOIL Center located in Superior, Wisconsin.

From troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems to supporting facility improvements and capital projects, your expertise will directly impact our ability to deliver industry-leading products to customers around the world.

Scheduled hours:

The work schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm with occasional overtime depending on business needs.

What you will own:
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

What you bring:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or high-volume production environment.

  • Experience with PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems preferred.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Welding, fabrication, machining, and industrial electrical experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience using CMMS software such as Limble is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to operate company vehicles.
