Job summary

Highmark Residential seeks a Maintenance Technician II to efficiently perform maintenance across the Grove Apartments community in Spartanburg, SC. You will engage in appliance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and A/C work, supporting the Service Manager and ensuring timely response to maintenance requests.

You must have at least one year of apartment maintenance experience and hold an A/C Certification Type II or Universal, plus a valid driver’s license and flexible/on‑call availability.

Qualifications

• At least one year of apartment maintenance experience.
• A/C Certification Type II or Universal.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule & on‑call.

Responsibilities

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties.
• Assist Service Manager with various tasks as required by the needs of the community.
• Ensure service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs.
• Respond to automated service on emergency calls per company policy.
• Assist with resident functions.
• Participate in the ongoing community preservation plan and preventive maintenance program.
