Description

Commercial and Residential Management Group (CRMG) is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform daily upkeep and cleanliness of buildings, landscaping, amenities, parking lots, and trash areas at the apartments communities of Battle Creek Lodges and The Court Yard apartments, totaling 96 units. Amenities include a pool and resident lounge (depending on property).

The Maintenance Technician II will handle essential maintenance duties such as repairs, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, landscaping, pool maintenance, and janitorial tasks under the supervision of experienced technicians. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong time management skills, and comfort managing work orders via technology.

Hourly Rate:

$27/hr

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Weekly Contracted Hours:

40 hours

Additional Compensation:

• Monthly $50 cell phone stipend

Requirements

What you will bring as a Maintenance Technician II

• At least 1 year in Maintenance Technician I or 2 years of relevant maintenance experience, preferably in property management
• Janitorial experience preferred
• Motivation, time management, and ability to follow instructions independently or in a team
• Intermediate knowledge of landscaping, pool maintenance, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, drywall, and flooring
• Pool maintenance experience required
• Experience operating pressure washers
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Experience with janitorial equipment and chemical handling
• Availability for after-hours emergencies
• Reliable transportation for tools and equipment
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and clean driving record
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of landlord/tenant laws, labor laws, and fair housing laws
