Job summary

Mandel Group, Inc. is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician II for The West Living and SoNa Lofts in West Allis, WI. Responsibilities include diagnosing work orders, performing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs, and maintaining grounds and safety records.

You will participate in preventative maintenance, respond to resident requests, and support on-call rotations, including some nights and weekends. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years maintenance/facilities/HVAC experience.
• EPA Universal, type 1 or 2 certifications preferred.
• CPO certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance services (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repairs, glass replacement).
• Respond to resident maintenance work orders and notify management on completion or needs.
• Be available for on‑call rotation (weekends/nights).
• Keep amenity areas clean and operable; monitor safety equipment and records.
• Participate in preventative maintenance (pool, exterior lighting, filter changes, inspections).
• Perform routine maintenance on vacant units prior to new occupancy.

Mandel is searching for a full-time apartment Maintenance Technician II to complete our team at The West Living and SoNa Lofts in West Allis, WI.In this role with Mandel, you will be responsible for maintaining the efficiencies and upkeep of the property buildings and grounds, diagnosing work order requests, and making repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural, and appliance.Duties of a Maintenance Tech II include:Perform general maintenance services such as: plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, glass replacement, etc.Respond timely to resident maintenance work order requests and notify management upon completion of requests or of pending work order needs.Be available to work on-call hours in a rotation, which will include some weekends and night work.Keep amenity areas in clean and operable condition.
