Job summary

Mandel Group Inc. is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician I or II at The Corners of Brookfield in Brookfield, WI.

You will maintain property buildings and grounds, diagnose work orders, and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, and other systems. The role includes a $1,000 sign-on bonus, on-call duties, weekend and night work as needed, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance/facilities experience.
• EPA Universal (Type 1 or 2) certification recommended.
• CPO certification recommended.
• 1–3 years maintenance/HVAC experience.
• Pool equipment knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repairs.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests and notify management upon completion.
• Be available for some weekends and night work.
• Keep amenity areas clean and ensure safety equipment and records are up to date.
• Participate in preventative maintenance including pool and exterior lighting.

Mandel Group is searching for a full-time apartment Maintenance Technician I or II to assist our team at TheCorners of BrookfieldinBrookfield, WI.

$1,000 Sign On Bonus

In this role with Mandel, you will be responsible for maintaining the efficiencies and upkeep of the property buildings and grounds, diagnosing work order requests, and making repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural, and appliance.

Duties of a Maintenance Tech include:

• Perform generalmaintenance services such as: plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, glass replacement, etc.
• Respond timely to resident maintenance work order requests and notify management upon completion of requests or of pending work order needs.
• Be available to work some weekends and night work.
• Keep amenity areas in clean and operable condition. Maintain and monitor all safety related equipment and required records.
• Participate in preventative maintenance to include pool, exterior lighting, filter changes and apartment inspections.
• Perform routine maintenance on vacant units in the most timely and efficient manner prior to new resident occupancy per Mandel standards.
• Grounds keeping duties to include trash removal and cleaning.

Requirements for the Maintenance Tech:

• Prior maintenance/facilities experience

Recommended but not required skills /certifications:

• EPA Universal, type 1 or 2, certifications
• CPO certification
• 1-3 years maintenance/facilities/HVAC experience
