Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is helping a leading manufacturing facility in Houston, TX fill a Maintenance Technician II role. The position supports the maintenance department with equipment setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.

You will coordinate with operators and leadership while documenting repairs in SAP. The job calls for solid hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing, strong electrical and HVAC skills, and the ability to work in a cold

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Electrical skills working with 480V, 277V, 3-phase, and 220V/120V systems.
• HVAC experience such as replacing belts, cleaning condensers, and monitoring building temperatures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare production equipment for daily operations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on various equipment.

Our client, a leading manufacturing facility specializing in meat production, is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician II, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the facility's operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician II

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Range: $31

Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 2PM - 11PM

What's the Job?

• Set up and prepare production equipment for daily operations
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on various equipment
• Maintain ongoing communication with operators, maintenance team, and site leadership
• Enter and track repairs in SAP system and support facility upkeep tasks

What's Needed?

• 3-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Electrical skills working with 480V, 277V, 3-phase, and 220V/120V systems
• Plumbing skills including running drain lines and maintaining oil-water separators
• HVAC experience such as replacing belts, cleaning condensers, and monitoring building temperatures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work in varying temperatures
