Job summary

Medical City Fort Worth, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support the hospital's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing physical plant. Under the supervision of Facilities Management leadership, you will perform daily maintenance tasks to ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.

You will work in a fast-paced healthcare setting, leveraging your hands-on trade skills and problem-solving abilities to prevent disruptions and help sustain reliable

Qualifications

• Vocational School Graduate with a minimum of 2 years of hospital/high-rise plant operations experience.
• Associate's degree in related field highly preferred.
• Valid Texas Driver License and clear driving record required.
• (ELEC-MAINT) Electrical Maintenance License, or (HVAC) HVAC Technician, or (PLUMB-APP) Plumbing Apprentice

Job Summary and Qualifications:

Under the supervision of the Director or Manager of Facilities Management, or designee, performs daily functions to support the facility’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing physical plant, and maintain a safe environment of care for patients, visitors, and staff. Performs additional tasks/activities as determined, and assigned, by either the Director or Manager of Facilities Management.

What qualifications you will need:

• Vocational School Graduate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital/high-rise plant operations required
• Associate's degree in related field highly preferred
• Valid Texas (DL) Driver License and clear driving record required
• (ELEC-MAINT) Electrical Maintenance License, or (HVAC) HVAC Technician, or (PLUMB-APP) Plumbing Apprentice
