Responsibilities

1. Inspect and maintain machinery and equipment in a manufacturing plant environment.
2. Identify and resolve safety hazards and perform safety repairs.
3. Diagnose malfunctions, isolate faults, and perform repairs.
4. Follow maintenance schedules for preventive and corrective maintenance.
5. Perform welding, grinding, fabrication, and flame cutting for repairs.
6. Interpret schematics, prints, diagrams, and oral instructions.
7. Operate according to Lockout/Tagout procedures.
8. Remove snow and ice when weather conditions require.
9. Assist and train other Maintenance Technicians, and prepare to take on more responsibilities.

Qualifications

1. At least 2 years of experience as an industrial maintenance technician.
2. Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics.
3. Strong safety awareness.
4. Physical ability to perform job duties (details available during interview).
5. Demonstrated knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance.
