Job summary

Drury Inn & Suites is hiring an on-site Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, smooth operation of a Centennial hotel property. You will perform repairs across plumbing, HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, and more, plus light carpentry and painting.

You will implement preventative maintenance and train junior staff to uphold service standards. Responsibilities include detailed record-keeping, safety program implementation, and collaboration with management to recruit for the department.

Qualifications

• Advanced maintenance knowledge to handle hotel systems.
• Ability to dismantle equipment to repair components.
• Knowledge of water chemistry and pool maintenance.
• Experience implementing preventative maintenance programs.
• Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge for building upkeep.
• Clear written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and smooth-running physical hotel property and grounds.
• Complete repairs and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and HVAC.
• Perform light carpentry, painting, vinyl and drywall repair.
• Implement and monitor programs to ensure a safe facility and work environment in compliance with ergonomic, emergency response and injury prevention regulations.
• Keep detailed records and reports.
• Provide ongoing training to Maintenance Tech‑I team members.
• Collaborate with management to recruit for department needs.
• Contribute to an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous and friendly guest service.

Qualifications

• Advanced maintenance knowledge and skills, with ability to handle all aspects of hotel maintenance.
• Ability to complete partial or full dismantling of equipment to repair or replace defective components and restore functionality.
• Knowledge of water chemistry, water testing, filtration, and mechanical operations for pool maintenance.
• Experience implementing and monitoring preventative maintenance programs.
• Knowledge of building maintenance, including minor electrical repair and plumbing.
• Ability to speak, write and receive direction (written and verbal) in English.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery faults using appropriate testing methods.
• Flexibility to be available for emergency repair.

Pay range: $25.83 – $50.53 per hour.
