Job summary

HyAxiom, the hydrogen solutions arm of Doosan Group, is seeking a world-class Maintenance Technician I to join our Windsor, CT facility. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures on automated manufacturing equipment, read schematics and parts drawings, and perform routine preventive maintenance to keep plants running.

You will work with the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to execute work orders, use downtime reports to prioritize tasks, and help maintain safety and equipment

Qualifications

• Certificate program in industrial maintenance or related field.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong electrical/hydraulic experience; pneumatic is a plus.
• OSHA and electrical certifications preferred.
• Experience programming Fanuc/ABB robots.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, repair and setup of robotics, conveyor systems, and control-driven equipment.
• Repair, program, and troubleshoot control systems on plant equipment.
• Calibrate, repair, program and troubleshoot robotic systems (Fanuc and ABB).
• Work with manufacturing, engineering, and maintenance to get machines up and running to capacity.
• Communicate with supervisors about situations affecting production.
• Collaborate with contractors for maintenance issues requiring outside expertise.
• Maintain records of equipment information for maintenance resources.
• Assist with spare parts inventory to minimize downtime.
• Assist with preventive and predictive maintenance on CNC and production machinery.
