We are looking for a world classMaintenance Technicianto join our team. The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for effectively troubleshooting mechanical and electrical failures on equipment. Must be able to read schematics and parts drawings, perform routine preventive maintenance on machines and facilities, and be proficient with the use of a multi meter. The technician should be able to utilize downtime reports to evaluate and prioritize work orders according to production needs and complete task in a timely manner. This person will work with the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to execute work orders and is also responsible for performing on-going audits relating to equipment performance and safety.
The technician is responsible for effectively troubleshooting mechanical and electrical failures on automated, manufacturing machinery, specifically but not limited to. He or she must be able to read schematics and parts drawings, perform routine preventive maintenance on machines and facilities, and be proficient with the use of a multi meter. Utilization of downtime reports to evaluate and prioritize workload according to production needs is a necessity. Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner and work directly with the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to execute work orders.

Manufacturing environment involves frequent standing, sitting, and walking. Tasks require frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination. Performance of tasks may involve bending, stooping, and stretching. All tasks require the use of safety glasses and wearing safety toe shoes.Employee must occasionally lift raw materials and lift and move items up to 35 pounds. This position is also required to climb ladders, work at heights using scissors lifts, and work at heights over 6 feet.
