Job summary

Shoals Technologies Group, a leader in EBOS solutions for solar and energy storage, is hiring a Maintenance Technician I to ensure safe, reliable plant operation at our Alabama facility. You will perform preventive/Predictive maintenance, basic electrical repairs under supervision, and support equipment improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years in industrial maintenance, a High School Diploma or GED, basic mechanical aptitude, and a proactive mindset

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude is required.
• Critical thinker with problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform all jobs safely, efficiently and accurately to maintain and improve plant performance in Safety, Quality and Reliability.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment; follow maintenance best practices.
• Assist in preventative/predictive maintenance on wire processing equipment and other plant equipment.
• Conduct general repairs and routine maintenance such as belts, hoses, seals, lubrication and filter changes.
• Assist with basic electrical repairs under supervision and engine/ machine adjustments.
• Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems under supervision; participate in maintenance projects to support production and safety initiatives.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment and maintain storeroom processes.
