Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance, installation or repairs across mechanical, electrical, plumbing and related systems in an industrial setting. You will work hands-on, troubleshoot equipment and ensure safe, efficient operation in a utilities/processing facility.

The role emphasizes safety and teamwork, with on-site responsibilities and opportunities to learn multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and comprehend English and follow instructions.
• Six months to two years experience in a related position.
• Experience using power, pneumatic, hydraulic, and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Dismantles, inspects, and repairs defective parts with hand/power tools.
• Performs facility maintenance and may replace light bulbs, etc.
• Operates vehicles for plant operational purposes.
• Assists in estimating time and material costs for projects.
