Job summary

Action Property Management is seeking a full-time maintenance technician to join the Perla on Broadway team in Los Angeles. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, respond to emergencies, and help maintain pools, landscaping, and common areas.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and accurate record-keeping, with a schedule of Tue-Sat 8:00 am–4:30 pm and compensation of $27–$30 per hour. Minimum 1 year maintenance experience and a background check are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality or property management.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Hands-on experience or coursework in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting, and Drywall is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, painting, minor plumbing repairs, and landscaping.
• Preventive Maintenance: Assist in conducting preventive maintenance tasks, including filter changes, lubrication, and inspections.
• Emergency Response: Respond to emergency maintenance requests under the supervision of a higher-level technician.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with other maintenance team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
• Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and inventory.
• Property Maintenance: Assist in maintaining common areas, including cleaning, trash removal, and landscaping.
• Pool Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the pool and spa, including cleaning, chemical treatments, and basic equipment operation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
