Job summary

WinnCompanies seeks a Maintenance Technician I for The Exchange at Winder in Bethlehem, GA. The role focuses on maintenance across rental units, common areas, offices, and grounds requiring basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry skills.

Pay range is $20.00-$22.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule and on-call rotation. Ideal candidates have under one year of relevant experience, strong communication, and the ability to work with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Availability for on-call activity during off hours.
• Ability to speak and understand basic English.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs in areas such as appliances, carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting, basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Complete assigned service requests and repairs per company procedures.
• Assist in preparing vacant apartments for market-ready status.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal (snow removal, landscaping, trash management).
• Be available for on-call activity during off-hours based on schedule.
