Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Bull Creek, a 128-unit affordable housing community in Columbus, GA. You will perform maintenance across rental units, common areas, offices, grounds, and parking lots.

The position features a Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:30 PM schedule with on-call every other week. Requirements include 1–3 years of experience, knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC, and strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
• Basic familiarity with computers and tablets.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair in areas including appliances, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical.
• Complete service requests and repairs per company procedures.
• Ensure vacant apartments are market-ready and prepared for occupancy.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks and safety inspections.
• Maintain grounds, curb appeal, and snow removal as needed.
• Be available for on-call duties on a rotating schedule.
