Job summary

Weekender is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to maintain our properties and ensure guest comfort. You will handle routine upkeep, minor repairs, and assist with larger projects under supervision, contributing to a fast-growing hospitality startup.

Ideal candidates have basic repair skills, good communication, and the stamina to work in varying temperatures. This on-site role supports a collaborative team and guest-facing service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong basic repair skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
• Able to communicate effectively with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs such as light bulb replacement, unclogging drains, patching walls, and minor carpentry or painting tasks.
• Assist with routine inspections of equipment and report issues promptly.
• Support outdoor upkeep including landscaping and snow removal.
• Complete assigned work orders accurately and on time.
• Follow safety procedures when using tools, equipment, and chemicals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in maintenance areas and storage spaces.
• Provide courteous and timely responses to guest and staff requests.
• Assist Maintenance II and leadership staff with larger repairs or projects.
