Job summary

EAH Housing in Honolulu is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on rental units at Kukui Tower, a 380-unit family community. Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical work, painting, lock repairs, and turnover detailing, with a focus on timely completion.

Qualified candidates have 1+ year apartment maintenance experience, knowledge of plumbing/electrical/general maintenance, and a valid CADL; a clean DMV and reliable transportation are required.

• Lock Replacement/adjustment, bolt installation, window locks, latches and keys
• Screen Door Repair and Replacement, Sheetrock repair when needed
• Detailing Turnover Units, Completing within 5 days

This position is for a full-time Maintenance Tech I to work at Kukui Tower, a 380-unit family affordable housing community in Honolulu, HI. This is a HUD and Tax Credit property. Qualified candidates must have 1+ year of related apartment maintenance experience, knowledge and skills in plumbing, electrical and general maintenance. Must have a CADL, clean DMV record and reliable transportation. Must have basic computer knowledge. Salary range: $19.95- $30.40 per hour; hiring range for new employees is generally $19.95 - $25.18 per hour, DOE. Please note an offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate and the current salary level of individuals working at EAH in a similar role.

Position Overview
