Ohana Military Communities in Kailua, HI is hiring Maintenance Technicians at multiple levels to support housing community upkeep and make-ready projects. You will diagnose, repair, and document routine maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry, often outdoors and in tight spaces.

Roles include mentoring at Level 3 and a focus on safe, efficient operations. A $2,500 sign-on retention bonus is available after six months of employment, with a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Able to work outside in all weather conditions and perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid in-state driver's license.
• EPA 608 Certification must be obtained within 180 days from hire.
• Complete OSHA-10 Training within 1 year from hire.

Responsabilités

• Respond to service requests including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, water heaters, and carpentry.
• Perform skilled work in one or more trades with basic troubleshooting.
• Document all work per policy and maintain equipment in ready repair.
• Follow PPE usage and safety guidelines during maintenance tasks.
• Assist in make-ready of vacated units with painting, flooring, and fixture replacement.
• Conduct emergency maintenance for leaks, backups, and weather-related damage.
