Job summary

BH Management, LLC is seeking a Service Technician I for The Meadows Apartment Homes KS-BH to assist with maintenance and make-readies, diagnose problems, and ensure resident satisfaction on-site. Qualifications

• Six months to one-year general maintenance and safety experience.
• Basic computer skills to perform job functions.
• Regularly performs manual, task-oriented work under direct supervision.
• High School or GED is a plus.
• Working knowledge of HVAC.
• Required to provide own (industry specific) hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Uses industry-specific technology to complete repairs and restorations to move-in ready condition within company standards.
• Completes maintenance requests and upkeep including exterior grounds and common areas, HVAC troubleshooting.
• Identifies and corrects hazardous conditions and reports hazards to management.
• Ensures preventive maintenance programs are followed and documented.
• Maintains and secures property-issued tools.
• Post notices to vacate and other community communication as needed.
• Shares on-call responsibilities and responds to requests per standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
• complies with OSHA and safety requirements and knowledge of codes and internal policies.
