Job summary

Hampton Inn & Suites Augusta Washington Road is seeking an Engineer I Maintenance Tech to ensure guest comfort through reliable mechanical systems and a safe, clean property. The role involves preventative maintenance, repairs, and adhering to safety procedures, with a pay rate of $20 per hour.

A High School Diploma and basic HVAC/refrigeration knowledge are preferred, with possible engineering/technical training supporting progression. Experience in hospitality is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred; basic understanding of HVAC and Refrigeration.
• Prior hospitality experience preferred.
• Technical/other training or better in Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records on preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Perform general maintenance, preventative maintenance, inspections and repairs duties as assigned.
• Adhere to safety, security and emergency procedures and react promptly to hazards.
• Listen to and resolve guest problems and complaints promptly.
• Have working knowledge of HVAC, MEP and refrigeration systems and basic electric/plumbing skills.
