Base pay range

$17.00/hr - $18.00/hr

Position Overview

As a Part Time Maintenance Technician I (29 hours or less), you will coordinate tasks and supplies to prepare vacant units for re-occupancy and assist with special projects. Responsibilities include maintaining property conditions, performing preventative and corrective maintenance, and managing exterior and interior upkeep, including trash removal, landscaping, and snow removal. The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager depending on the property size.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Clean and restore vacated apartments.
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility and grounds.
• Change bulbs, locks, and assist with appliance installation.
• Perform painting, caulking, drywall repair, and manage pressure washing and snow removal.
• Inspect units for repairs and quality control.
• Assist with minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repairs.

Required Education and Experience

• Minimum one year of related experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair routine maintenance issues.
• Knowledge of minor repairs, hand and power tools.

Work Conditions & Physical Demands

• Indoor and outdoor work in residential settings.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform various physical tasks.
