Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems and blueprints.
• Ability to read prints and schematics and use a multi-meter.
• Familiarity with Lean concepts and maintenance practices.
• Ability to work at a fast pace with effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate tools and machines including meters, torches, grinders, welders, forklifts, cranes and computers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing and shop equipment.
• Read and interpret prints and schematics for maintenance tasks.
• Set up machines and fixtures; perform basic welding tasks.
• Maintain inventory and use maintenance software/database.
• Work mandatory overtime as needed.
